Januara 2000. godine Miodrag Jovanovic - Misko, gitarista i pevac komponuje nov materijal i pocinje da pise sopstvene tekstove, koji odlucuje da interpretira. Sa gitaristom Brankom Bjelicicem formira grupu "Handmade", kojoj se prikljucuju basista Dejan Milosevic i bubnjar Marko Jelaca. Ulaze u studio i snimaju svoj prvi CD album - "No limits", koji je u toku jeseni 2001. godine izdao ITMM. Prvi singl i spot sa albuma je pesma "Long time ago". Vrsta muzike koju ovaj bend interpretira bi se mogla definisati kao vanvremenska i najvise potpada pod r&b, sa primesama džeza i bluza. Ima tu i roka, donekle i kantri muzike. "Ne zelimo nekim odredjenim stilom sami sebi da napravimo klopku, vec da eksperimentisemo sa razlicitim pravcima muzike. Ono sto je najvaznije je da je ona iskrena i da mislimo da smo kompetentni da je izvodimo. Neki od nas sviraju i vise decenija, u razlicitim bendovima ili projektima. U pitanju su iskljucivo bile obrade ili reprodukcije poznatih kompozicija, sto nije bilo primereno snimanju za CD, a sto neki muzicari rade! Izvodili smo kompozicije Albert Kinga, Sarah Vaughan, Dave Brubecka, Billy Cobama, Robin Forda itd. Posle svih tih godina nastalesu ideje koje su rezultirale ovim CD-om. Smatramo da je muzika originalna, sveza i optimisticka, i da u sebi sadrži odredenu dozu umetnosti. Koliko smo u tome uspeli, procenite i javite nam se". Voleli bi da je prezentujemo", kaze Misko Jovanovic.
At the begining of January 2000 Miodrag Jovanovic - Misko, guitar player and singer starts to compose new material and to write his own compositions. Later, he decided to perform some of them, for what he needed a band! With another guitar player Branko Bjelicic he formed "Handmade", into which then joined bass player Dejan Milosevic and drummer Marko Jelaca. Soon they recorded their first CD album - "No limits", which was released during autumn of 2001 by record company ITMM. As a first single and clip from the album the band had chosen a song "Long time ago". A stile of music that this band interpretes could be easily defined as out-of-time music, with clear r&b, jazz and blues influences. Also with a bit of rock, as well as coutry style music. "We do not want to shut ourselves with certain type of stile, we make experiments all of the time, with different styles of music. What is most important is that we feel capable to play in that manner. Some of us have been playing music for a couple of decades, in different bands and in different projects. But, what we played were just our versions of well known songs composed or performed by Albert King, Sarah Vaughan, Dave Brubeck, Billy Cobam, Robin Ford etc. After all these years we felt we could produce out own material, a feeling that made this album possible.
